Latinx Student Leadership Organization

LSLO is a student organization dedicated to uplifting culture and student involvement on the hilltop by creating spaces that celebrate and unite the Latinx community. The organization hosts a variety of culturally-rooted events throughout the year, including Lotería, bailes and volunteering opportunities that bring students together through shared traditions, community-building and meaningful service. Through these events, LSLO helps foster connection, pride and representation across campus.

Monarchs on the Hilltop

Monarchs is dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive community for undocumented students and students from mixed-status families at St. Edward’s University. It provides a welcoming space where students can connect, share experiences and find a supportive community that understands their unique challenges. Through its commitment to advocacy, belonging, and empowerment, the organization ensures that every student feels seen, valued and supported on the hilltop.

Hilltop Views

Hilltop Views, the university’s student-run newspaper, is dedicated to informing, engaging and empowering the campus community through student-led journalism. The team writes, edits and produces newspapers that highlight important issues not only within St. Edward’s University but also in the broader world, keeping students aware of current events, cultural topics and opportunities. The team has focused more and more on bringing multimedia content to Hilltoppers, for those who prefer to get their news in the digital landscape. By fostering thoughtful discussion and encouraging student voices, the organization helps cultivate a well-informed campus and provides valuable experience for those interested in writing, editing, media and communications.
