Hundreds of hilltoppers came together to enjoy St. Edward's University Homecoming. There were plentiful opportunities for current students, alumni, families, faculty and staff to celebrate their blue and gold pride and to make new memories in a vibrant atmosphere that only a St. Ed's Homecoming can provide. It was an incredible weekend to celebrate what makes our community so special.

Goat yoga was a new-and-perfectly-St.-Ed's activity at homecoming this year. Members of the hilltop community participated in a guided yoga practice while friendly baby goats provided an extra dose of cuteness (and sometimes chaos) to the class.
School of Natural Sciences alumni, current students and current and retired faculty enjoyed breakfast tacos, coffee and mimosas while catching up in the John Brooks Williams Natural Sciences - North atrium.
The Homecoming Parade is in its third year and it was bigger and better than ever! Students, alumni, faculty, staff and Austin community organizations showed their blue and gold pride as they paraded down Moody Drive to the tunes of marching bands and the rhythm of Ballet Folklorico. Hilltoppers and community members lined the streets to watch the procession and cheer them on.
It wouldn't be a St. Ed's homecoming without a tailgate! Members of the SEU community, their families and friends gathered together to enjoy great conversation, delicious food and fun games ahead of the athletic games of the day.

Seal of Excelencia
President Montserrat Fuentes revealed the university's Seal of Excelencia. St. Edward’s is one of just 39 institutions, approximately 1% of U.S. colleges and universities, to earn the Seal of Excelencia from Excelencia in Education, a nonprofit organization with a mission to accelerate Latino student success in higher education. St. Edward’s is the only Catholic university, first private university in Texas and second private university in the U.S. to receive this distinguished three-year certification.

The men's soccer team faced off in a riveting game against Lubbock Christian University on Lewis-Chen Family Field.
The women's basketball team dominated on the court at the Recreation and Athletic Center as they went up against Blinn College.
The College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) hosted a social for current CAMP students, CAMP alumni, board of trustees members and CAMP supporters like Luci Baines Johnson '97 and Ian Turpin. St. Edward’s CAMP, established in 1972, is the longest continuously running, migrant-education university program in the nation.
Hilltoppers gathered in Main Building to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the esteemed McNair Scholars Program. For an illustrious twenty years, this program has served as a beacon of academic excellence, elevating a diverse array of scholars to unparalleled levels of achievement and insight.
The School of Behavioral and Social Sciences showcased faculty and student research in Equity Hall with new gallery walls that highlight the school's most recent studies and proudest moments.
Much like the hilltop, Austin has changed over the years, but it's funky spirit still shines through. This “bucket list” tour gave visitors a great snapshot of Austin and what makes it a unique city in the great state of Texas. Participants got to see an iconic Austin mural, snap photos and learn about Texas history at the Capitol, and enjoy a sweet treat to end the day.
Casino Night is always a homecoming classic! Attendees spent a stellar night playing exciting casino games, connecting with friends, and enjoying other amusements.
Since homecoming has moved to the fall on Halloween weekend, a new-and-wildly-popular tradition has been the student-run haunted house. For a few nights, students get to transform East Hall into a spooky space. No treats and delights to be found here, only tricks and frights!
